Capricorn — horoscope for October 2026 (UTC)
October has a few moments worth marking in your calendar. On October 3 the Last Quarter falls in Cancer, in your seventh solar house — cooperation and careful listening matter most. On October 10 the New Moon falls in Libra, in your solar tenth house — a good time to think about your goals and take a step towards them. On October 18 the First Quarter falls in Capricorn, in your sign's first house — a good moment to look after yourself and start something your own way. On October 26 the Full Moon falls in Taurus, in your fifth solar house — do something for fun and let creativity carry you.
On October 3 Venus stations and turns retrograde — a good time to revisit relationships, pleasure and what you value rather than start from scratch. On October 16 the retrograde phase of Pluto ends: deep transformation get back on track. Your sign's ruler, Saturn, is now in Aries, in your solar fourth house, so the focus is on home, family and roots. It is moving retrograde, which favours returning to unfinished business. The Sun is in your sign's tenth house, so goals, ambitions and how others see you are in the spotlight this month. Mercury and Venus are in your eleventh solar house, while Mars is in your solar eighth house — a hint about where conversation, pleasure and action come most easily now.
A tip for Capricorn: break a big task into smaller steps. A good day often starts with something small — look for it.
